The Women’s Health Information and Referral Service CQ Inc. (WHIRSCQ) will host a Wellness Expo on Thursday, the 6th of March 2025, from 10.00am to 1.00pm at Rockhampton Leagues Club.
The Expo is held in conjunction with the Queensland Government’s Queensland Women’s Week. The theme for 2025 is “March Forward” and aligns with the United Nations International Women’s Day theme, which celebrates the progress made by women who came before us while recognising the work yet to come to achieve gender equality.
The Expo aims to promote the rights, interests, health, and well-being of women and their families in Central Queensland by recognising the importance of women’s health to the well-being of society and to the overall growth of the region. It connects individuals and families to supports and services and creates awareness of issues affecting the community.
All community members are welcome and is free to attend.
