Sexual Violence Counselling and Support

Sexual violence can happen to anyone, no matter your age, sexual orientation, or gender identity.

WHIRSCQ’s sexual violence support service offers counselling and support for individuals who have been impacted by sexual violence. This is a confidential counselling service, facilitated in a safe space in a culturally sensitive way.

This service is available to adolescents (from 12 years and over), women and men who have experienced sexual violence recently or at any stage in their life. The service provides information and support to family members and supporters of anyone who has experienced a sexual violence, and community groups.

  • Mount Morgan
  • Blackwater
  • Emerald

Individuals can self refer.

Government and Non-Government Organisations, schools and GPs can refer individuals by completing a Referral Form and emailing it to intakeofficer@whccq.org.au.
